First-time Sync
Once connected, a one-time data sync happens, duration depending on your article count. You'll get an email about the sync's success or failure. Post-sync, your publication and WordPress data will align.
Authors
Existing WordPress authors get author permission invites to your publication in the first sync. Add more members through Storipress's Team page later.
Users with username starting with storipress are created by Storipress; don't delete them. Contact customer support for sync issues.
Desk (Category)
Storipress allows only one sub-desk layer. Categories with multiple levels in WordPress will be merged. If you want to know why Storipress restricts categories like this, read this doc.
For example:
Your Categories in WordPress:
- Name 1
- Name 2
- Name 3
- Name 4
- Name 5
After Syncing to Storipress, Desks will be:
- Name 1
- Name 2
- Name 3
- Name 4
- Name 5
